CHONGQING, Aug. 8, 2019 (Xinhua) -- Shades of deep green and blue create a placid picture of the Taiyang Lake in Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

Located southeast of the Huangshui National Forest Park, the Taiyang Lake covers an area of more than 3,300 mu (220 hectares).The average altitude of the lake reaches 1,450 meters above sea level.
